On September 24, an armed group of Serbs attacked the Kosovo Police in Banjska, northern Kosovo, and killed Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku. Then, in the exchange of fire, three Serbian attackers were killed.
Responsibility for the attack was taken by Millan Radoicic, former vice-president of Lista Serbe – the main party of Serbs in Kosovo that enjoys the support of Serbia – claiming that he “personally” organized the attack and all the logistical preparations, and that he did not inform nobody about those plans.
