Journalist Gjergj Figuri has given more details about what Ruben Saraiva testified before Portuguese prosecutors, arrested for the murder of businessman Ardian Nikulaj in Shengjin in April of last year.
He refused to cooperate with justice and denied being involved in the incident. “We expected the decision of Sarajevo because even at the first moment when he appeared in court he stated that he was in Albania as a tourist and that he was not involved. He has maintained the same position even today,” said the journalist about what Saraiva stated for two hours before the prosecutors of the case
. “It is expected that there will be another interrogation to offer him the opportunity to be an associate of justice again, but this interrogation should also be expected, since at the first moment he refused not only to be an accomplice but also to be involved in event.
“But the prosecutors are trying to see if there are any deviations in the evidence so that they can discover as much information as possible from him about his activities in Albania during his stay, his murder and his departure from the country,” the journalist added.
