A 32-year-old man from Romania has been criminally prosecuted, as he did not declare an amount of money after arriving in Rinas. During the physical check, citizen A.C was found to have 18,500 pounds, which he had not declared at the border, as required by law.
In the meantime, the amount of money was seized as evidence, while the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, for the criminal offense “Failure to declare money and items at the border”.
“Rinas Border Police Services, following the increased controls, based on the risk analysis, for the identification and attack of illegalities, at the entrance of RSh, have moved to the second line, for a detailed control, the Romanian citizen A. C.
During the physical check, 18,500 pounds were found on this citizen, which he had not declared at the border, as required by law.
The amount of money was seized as material evidence”, announced the police.
