The order of interior minister Bledi Çuçi and police chief Muhamet Rrumbullaku to merge the ranks of state police inspectors has caused a lot of dissatisfaction within the ranks of the blue uniforms.
The RENEA department, FNSH as well as many other structures have complained to the Police Union, since the transition to the rank of simple inspector affects their salary, but also does not give them the possibility of promotion.
The new structure treats in the same conditions an inspector who has just graduated from the Security Academy with what may be 15 or 20 years of work experience within the ranks of the police.
