Prime Minister Edi Rama has handed over the ownership titles of the houses in Theth and in some other areas of the North, where the inherited problems have been solved. During his speech, he said that fines for constructions without permission will be waived, as they were done out of necessity and not massively to evade the law.

“At the end of the month, we would be back on June 30 and here we are, to hand out the long-awaited title deeds. For which we have started the work for a long time, now it is in the last steps and what we are doing here, we will also do in other areas, such as the case of Himara. I believe you have seen it, but the problem was different, since the division of properties will be done in a different formula.

What matters is that today there are 200 titles that are here and we will distribute a small part now, the rest during the day. Meanwhile, there are 90 other titles, for 40 the Municipality of Shkodra will have to do a study, the issue of the area, while for the other 50 titles the problem is in their property. Of course, here we will find a solution, for all those who are in your conditions, but the inability to get a permit is related to the problems. Second, the issue of fines that are the result of interventions where you had the old house.

The government will forgive all these fines, because we discussed it that day and they are not massive constructions to avoid the law, but they are constructions out of necessity. This does not mean that these constructions without permission will continue”, said Rama./abcnews.al
