Constitutional Court will review this Thursday at 10:00 a.m. the lawsuit of MPs of the group of Gazment Bardhi and Sali Berisha regarding the agreement for immigrants with Italy.
30 MPs consider the agreement between the two countries in violation the Constitution and international law.
On December 13, the Constitutional Court decided to suspend the agreement just a few hours before the Assembly voted for approval.
Democratic Party (DP), as the official party of Lulzim Basha and two other groups, Sali Berisha and Gazment Bardhi, took the agreement to this court on December 6.
At the meeting, it was decided that the complaint should be returned to Basha to be completed in the future, while the decision to suspend it was based on the documents sent by the two opposition groups.
Opposition says the agreement with Italy contradicts the constitution, violates human rights conventions and lacks transparency.
