Prime Minister Edi Rama has concludes a two-day visit to Pristina. Rama told a news conference that he was in Kosovo to give his full support.
“Since I want to make clear the fact that I am here in the service of a national need, I believe in full support to Kosovo and all its political representatives. In conditions when everyone knows that something serious and unfair has happened.
I am glad to say that it is a privilege to be in the position I am and to have the opportunity to contribute. I want to make it clear that I feel sorry when I see different reactions and here I am talking about reactions at the civic level of how the poison of everyday life has penetrated into the basis of national politics that are citizens and influences that we could not understand. Meanwhile, the essence of the concern that we should have today as a nation is being distorted.
It has nothing to do with two people or their careers, but with the values of the fight for Kosovo’s freedom. I think this is the moment where we have a crisis caused by this indictment but we have a great opportunity to highlight not only the values of the war, but the elementary truth that Kosovo was a victim and not the aggressor, “said Rama.
