Prime Minister Edi Rama this Wednesday is participating in the summit of the Council of Europe that is taking place in Iceland. Rama started his speech at this summit by bringing to attention the unfair trial that is being done to the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army in The Hague.
He started his speech with the baseless accusations that are being made against the former leaders of the KLA(Kosovo Liberation Army) in The Hague. He emphasized that this was a diabolical propaganda that originated in Russia. Among other things, he emphasized that all this was done to tarnish the image of Albania and Kosovo.
“The President of Kosovo is judged by a court of the democratic world but based on a 2011 report which was mischievously expropriated by President Putin. Unfounded accusations of human organ trafficking were raised as a criminal campaign that tarnished Albania and Kosovo, and when I heard the Kremlin’s propaganda about human organ trafficking by neo-Nazis in Donbask, I felt like I was seeing President Zelensky on trial 10 years later tried by a special court set up on absurd charges.
The situation where the former president of Kosovo is and its liberation war was started by the Council of Europe. I would be guilty if I remained silent, because the assembly of the Moral Council has the obligation to judge and review every mistake, and in this case pave the way for the withdrawal of the report that falsely labeled Albania as a base for the trafficking of human organs. led by the Organs of the Kosovo Liberation Army,” stated Rama.
