Prime Minister Edi Rama started this Tuesday by publishing the interview of the former president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, from his cell in The Hague.
In a social media statement, Rama proclaimed that the longer the trial against him continues, the more questions are raised about the level of respect for the basic democratic principle of “fair process”.
On his part, during the interview, Thaçi spoke for the first time since the day he was locked up in The Hague prison.
“GOOD MORNING and with this interview of the President of the Republic of Kosovo and the commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, our friend and my brother Hashim Thaçi, who has spoken for the first time since the day he was locked up in the Hague prison, where a trial is taking place the more it continues, the more it raises questions about the level of respect for the fundamental democratic principle of “fair process”, I wish you a good day to all of you, in Albania and Kosovo.
