One person was arrested and 8 others were prosecuted without being detained for various criminal offences, the police anounced this Friday morning.
Authorities revealed that the arrested person is charged with the criminal offense of “Theft of electricity”, after an illegal connection of electricity was found in his business in Berdica, Shkodra.
Meanwhile, six others from Thethi were prosecuted for the same criminal offense as illegal electricity connections were found in their respective homes and businesses.
Another person was also put under investigation after he was found to be carrying out construction works in his apartment without the relevant permit.
A 29-year-old man is also being investigated at large after a quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa was found on him, which was seized as material evidence.
