On the 111th anniversary of the declaration of Independence, the official flag raising ceremony was held in the city of Vlora.
The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, the Prime Minister Edi Rama, Speaker of Parliament Lindita Nikolla and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, were present at this ceremony.
Heads of state and officials laid wreaths in Flag Square to honor the outstanding activists who, with great efforts, managed to declare Albania’s independence 111 years ago.
