The Special Prosecutor’s Office requested 16 years in prison for two associates of businessman Rezart Taci. It is about Artur Balla, against whom SPAK demands a sentence of 8.8 years in prison, and Bledar Lilo, for whom 8 years in prison is demanded.
The charges brought against them are “Cleaning of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity”, “Structured criminal group”, “Perpetration of offenses by a structured criminal group”.
So the trial for the businessman Rezart Taci has been separated, it will be judged as a separate criminal case, because this defendant is in absentia and the necessary procedures provided for in the Code of Criminal Procedure for defendants who are judged in absentia must be carried out.
