As part of the High Level Week of the UN General Assembly, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, part of the Albanian delegation headed by President Bajram Begaj, participated in the working morning organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Foreign Minister of Italy, Antonio Tajani, with the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans and the MFAs of Croatia and Slovenia.
Minister Hasani praised the proactive role of Italy, Croatia and Slovenia in the integration process of the Western Balkans, as he reiterated that Albania will do its best to meet all the requirements that will pave the way for an accelerated integration perspective.
The Albanian chief diplomat also held bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, Estonia, and Egypt, where issues of bilateral, regional and global relations were discussed.
On September 20, Prime Minister Edi Rama in the framework of the Albanian Presidency of the Security Council will lead the High Level meeting of the SC on Ukraine, a meeting in which the participation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and about 50 heads of state has been confirmed./abcnews.al
