Police of Korça have arrested a 28-year-old man for transporting illegal immigrants. It is about the citizen with the initials S.Z., a resident in Korça, who was caught with 25 illegal immigrants in his van.
The Police Services, on the basis of the information provided by the information intelligence, for a citizen who would transport foreign citizens for payment, in order for them to cross the border illegally, organized actions on the “Qafë Plloçë-Qukës” road axis.
From the entirety of the investigative actions and the evidence provided, it turned out that the 28-year-old would transport the immigrants, against the payment of 300-1000 euros each, in order to cross illegally to EU countries.
As material evidence, the vehicle, a mobile device and a sum of money were seized.
