The Laws Commission, after discussions, decided to approve the amnesty and forwarded it to the plenary session of this Thursday for a vote. Enkelejd Alibeaj left the meeting claiming that the proposals of the Democratic Party were not accepted.
The SP invited Alibeaj, on Thursday in the plenary session, to bring amendments if he is not satisfied with this variant.
The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, during his speech at the Laws Commission, said that a part of the amendments of the democratic deputy Enkeljed Alibeaj and Bledion Nallbat have been accepted.
In today’s online meeting at the Law Commission where the draft for Criminal Amnesty was discussed, during his speech Enkeled Alibeaj said that the acceptance of Nallbat’s amendment affects some red lines of the government. He also stressed that no person belonging to the caste of politicians should benefit from the amnesty. While for his part, the Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja said that the proposal made by Alibeaj should clarify the situation for the convicts and the persons who are under investigation and trial.
