Although the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, refused the meeting with the head of the Albanian government, Edi Rama will not cancel his visit to Pristina, as part of the Balkan tour.
“I am here because for this decision, as far as the visit tomorrow in Pristina and the whole tour, I will speak when will be the time, which is tomorrow in Pristina,” said Rama.
Meanwhile, confidential sources told ABC News that the meeting will take place tomorrow in Pristina, between Prime Minister Rama and President Vjosa Osmani.
Albin Kurti refused the meeting on Thursday in Pristina with Edi Rama. The Prime Minister of Pristina set a condition for the Albanian Prime Minister to meet between the governments.
After the cancellation of the meeting of governments in June, this is the second act of the worst historical moment of relations between Albania and Kosovo, since its liberation in 1999 and comes only two days after Bill Clinton’s visit to Tirana.
