Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was today in Tirana for his official visit where he first met his Albanian counterpart, Edi Rama.
Kurti in his speech at the joint conference with Prime Minister Rama stated that priority is to create a strong bridge of cooperation between Albania and Kosovo.
“The first place I visited was Prekazi, than the first city was Mitrovica and Albania should have been the first place outside Kosovo that I could visit as prime minister.
In the third decade of the 21st century I want to have a strong start to Kosovo-Albania cooperation. Kosovo and Albania are each other’s priorities.
At this meeting we agreed to set up an interstate commission that will implement the full progress of the agreements signed so far to be approved and further enhanced.
I want to continue our cooperation.
I thank Albania and the people of Albania for their unreserved support for Kosovo.
Kosovo would not succeed against Serbia without the support of Albania that is why we want to move together and strongly in the 21st century.
Also the two prime ministers Kurti and Rama have commented on the Balkan Mini-Schengen also they stated thats more important for both of them is Albanian Macro-Schengen before the Balkan one. /abcnews.al
