Kosovo Police announced this Monday that three attackers have been killed, while six others have been arrested by a group of about 30 armed people, who in the early hours of Sunday attacked the Kosovo Police in the north, where tragically one policeman was killed. while another was injured.
Armed clash took place in the village of Bansjka in the municipality of Leposavic, where the armed group was located inside a monastery of the village, which later in the day was put under the control of the police.
Kosovo police interviewed dozens of pilgrims who were in the monastery.
The Serbian Orthodox Church itself, from the Diocese of Raška-Prizren, said during the clash that it is “concerned because a group of armed, masked persons entered the Banjska monastery in an armored vehicle, breaking the gate closed of the monastery”.
