The Judicial Appointments Council convenes today at 13.30, following the call of the US Ambassador Yuri Kim and that of the European Union Luigi Soreca for the completion of the Constitution within 31 December.
However, sources told ABC that the KED meeting is scheduled to approve some minutes. Earlier in the day, the US diplomat called on KED to convene and conclude the assessments and send the list of candidates to the Presidency and Parliament.

Kim also called for the process to be respected, but not abused. According to the ambassador, there is no objective reason for the Constitutional Court not to be operational by 31 December.
