The Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana has seized another 2-story villa in the Petrela area as it is suspected that it was built on the basis of some forged documents. The villa with a land area of 660 m2 is said to be owned by Xhevdet Çelik. According to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office, Çelik’s villa was built in the same area where 7 other buildings were seized a short time ago, which were built with forged documents. Preliminary investigations of the prosecution started in 2023 for the criminal offense of “Illegal construction”.
The buildings were formally equipped with a reconstruction permit, but the technical-legal documentation resulted in false data. As part of this proceeding in March of this year, 10 people were charged.
The villas, in the area of Mullet, have been formally equipped with a reconstruction permit, but according to the prosecution’s investigation, it has been found that the legal technical documentation used reflected false data, as well as violating the forest fund, under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Tirana./abcnews. al
