Interior Minister, Taulant Balla has been called this Wednesday to report to the Commission of European Affairs, where he guaranteed that the data of the TIMS system are 100% protected and there is no leakage of them.
During his speech, Balla recalled that in the summer of last year the system was attacked, but added that the system is 100% functional.
“I want to guarantee that the data of every citizen in the TIMS system is 100% protected. There is no data leaked from this system. Fortified and thanks to the support of partners. I want to appreciate the assistance of the USA. I want thank you partners.
I have asked the general director of the Police and the Police Supervision Agency, the immediate involvement of SPAK. It was also a recommendation from their side that this case be followed by the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana.
I guarantee every Albanian citizen and foreigner, has entered or left the country, we have a data operation center that has the best standards. The allegations should also be verified by the prosecution. From my point of view as the Minister of the Interior, I urge that every case be investigated by the prosecutor’s office.
It turns out that there was no copying or leaking. When the mud is returned to the pedestal, there is talk of data usage. This is impossible! As soon as the prosecution closes the investigations, I will inform you and I will come here”, stated the Minister.
