The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni will come to Albania on Wednesday. According to the agenda published by the Italian press offices, she will only visit Gjadra, where the camp will be where the immigrants’ residence will be built.
Journalist Fjona Xhafaj reports that in addition to the week of Italian culture, the focus of her visit is the issue of immigrants. So she will inspect the works in Gjadër of Lezha, she will visit both the camps in Lezha and the works, which have had a delay.
The beginning of the agreement protocol for immigrants is expected to start on September 15, where it is predicted that 13.5 million euros will go only for the rental of the ship which will accompany 200 immigrants to the port of Shengjin.
We emphasize that there are two management structures for the accommodation of African immigrants in our country according to the agreement reached between the Albanian and Italian governments.
The first is at the port of Shengjin, which is also the entry gate for these immigrants, but in fact the port will only be a transit, as the necessary checks will be made there according to the procedures and then the immigrants will be transported to the structure of second accommodation to be built in the village of Gjadër./abcnews.al
