Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will pay an official visit to Albania today, while she will inspect the area of Gjadri in Lezhë, where a refugee camp is expected to be built according to the agreement signed between Tirana and official Rome. In Gjadër, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will be accompanied by her Albanian counterpart Edi Rama.
This inspection will start at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, and then the two prime ministers will answer journalists’ questions at a press conference at 12:00 p.m. The implementation of the agreement for immigrants is expected to start on September 15, where it is predicted that 13.5 million euros will go only for renting the ship which will accompany 200 immigrants to the port of Shengjin./abcnews.al
