The former head of the Democratic Party in Peqin, Diell Çela, was injured by gunfire. It is learned that Çela had a conflict with a 55-year-old man, for weak motives. Çela arrived at the hospital to receive medical help. The suspected perpetrator has been identified as Sokol Dehima.
We recall that Diell Çela was in charge of Peqin until 2016.
“During a conflict between citizens D. Ç. and S. D., citizen S. D. is suspected of having wounded citizen Diell Çela, who is out of danger for life.
The Police Services have set up checkpoints and are checking the territory, with the aim of catching the suspected perpetrator, citizen S. D.
The investigative group, led by the Prosecutor’s Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident,” the police said.
