Prosecutor’s Office of Fier has sent five doctors for trial this Monday for negligence. According to the official announcement, the doctors neglected the medical treatment of a citizen who later died.
Meanwhile, it is emphasized that the Prosecutor’s Office of Fier is fully committed to prosecuting and bringing to justice all public officials who commit criminal offenses.
“The Fier Prosecutor’s Office sends five doctors of the Regional Hospital to court for “Negligence in medical treatment”.
The Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction has completed the preliminary investigations of criminal case no. 1437, year 2022, and sends for trial 5 (five) defendants, doctors of the Fier Regional Hospital, for the criminal offense, “Negligence in medical treatment”, provided by article 96 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
From the evidence administered and their analysis, it was found that the five doctors were negligent in the medical treatment of a citizen, who subsequently died.
