Three girls have been arrested this Monday under the charge of exploitation of prostitution: Pranvera Isufaj, 32 years old, Aleksandra Toska, 19 years old and a 17 year old.
Organizer of this criminal activity, citizen ArbEr Mehmeti, 33 years old, who has been declared wanted, was previously convicted for attempted murder. On her part, the 32-year-old woman was under “house arrest” for the criminal offense of “possessing cold weapons without a permit”.
According to the police, these citizens raped and exploited a 24-year-old woman for prostitution for two months in rented apartments and different hotels in Fier.
In the meantime, the authorities are working to identify and prosecute the other citizens implicated in this case and the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Fier, for further action.
“Specialists of the Narcotics and Illegal Traffic Investigation Section of the Fier Local Police Directorate, supported by information intelligence that some citizens were using a 24-year-old woman for prostitution, have referred the materials to the Fier Prosecutor’s Office, which registered a criminal proceeding for this case.
Based on the evidence provided by the two-month proactive investigation, the coded police operation “Imposition” was organized and finalized, within which the prohibition was made for the criminal offenses “Illegal Deprivation of Liberty”, “Exploitation of Prostitution” and “Holding of prostitution premises”, of female citizens:
-P. I., 32 years old, resident in Patos, A. T., 19 years old, resident in Fier and a 17-year-old resident in Fier. The 32-year-old woman was under “House Arrest” for the criminal offense of “Possessing cold weapons without a permit”.
Following the investigative actions for this case, a search was announced and efforts are being made to capture the citizen A. M., 33 years old, resident of Fier, organizer of this criminal activity (previously convicted for attempted murder).
The 33-year-old man, in cooperation with the 3 banned citizens, took away her freedom, through threats and violence, of a 24-year-old woman and used her for prostitution in rented apartments and different hotels in the city of Fier”, announced the law enforcement.
