Three people have been handcuffed this Wednesday after they converted a 3-story villa into a “bari house” in Fier. Police revealed that the arrested are the owner of the villa, Erjon Marini alias Xhevair Gashi, who had adapted the 5 rooms of one floor for the cultivation of narcotic plants, as well as the accountant, Klajdi Gremi, and the OSHEE electrician, Behar Fata.
Meanwhile, 181 narcotic plants were seized which were cultivated in pots that were found inside the premises fitted with lamps, dozens of lamps and other electrical equipment that were installed in the 5 premises of the apartment.
Furthermore, the 3-story villa where narcotic plants were cultivated was blocked and the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Fier Judicial District Court for further actions.
“The arrested: – E. M. alias Xh. G., 44 years old, resident of Dërmënas, Fier, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Theft of electricity”. This citizen is the owner of the villa in which the Police discovered 5 premises adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants;
-K. G., 40 years old, resident of Fier, with the duty of OSHEE’s accountant, for the criminal offense of “Abuse of duty”;
-B. F., 47 years old, resident of Fier, working as an electrician of OSHEE, for the criminal offense “Misuse of duty”.
Work continues to identify and capture other suspected persons involved in this criminal activity. In cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office, the property investigation continues against the owner of the villa, citizen E. M”, according to the released information.
