A 46-year-old man has been arrested by the Fier police after 11 years on the run, as he is accused of theft at gunpoint in 2012.
According to the police, the incident took place in the village of Portez, where the now-arrested person stole, under the threat of a firearm, in cooperation with another citizen, a sum of money from a gas station.
Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction left the 46-year-old under the the security measure of “Arrest in prison”, as he is accused that in 2012, in cooperation with another citizen, under the threat of a firearm, he stole about 60 000 ALL in the gas station.
Investigations continue for the identification and capture of the other citizen implicated in this case. Nevertheless, the procedural materials have been passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction for further actions.
