Vlora Police has detained this Tuesday the ex-son-in-law of Pal Kola, the guard who was killed by Kalashnikov fire in the yard of Top Channel television shortly after Monday midnight.
In front of the investigators, Roberto Papçi has denied having anything to do with the event. Along with the ex-son-in-law, his friend, Agustin Tonaj, also accompanied him, who also denied having anything to do with the incident.
These detentions were made as part of the investigation to find out who was the target of the attack. They would remain in the police premises until the end of the examinations to see if there are gunpowder residues in their hands or not.
Nevertheless, the serious event took place in the early hours of Monday morning, where some people fired a barrage of bullets at the television building and unfortunately the private security guard, Pal Kola, 60 years old, died.
From the preliminary data, the perpetrators moved with a “Range Rover” type vehicle, which turns out to have been stolen in Shkodër and is not registered in Albania.
Bullets were shot on the first and second floor of the building as well as in the cabin where the guard was located, who took a bullet and died a few minutes after the incident.
The Range Rover vehicle was later found burnt in Golem, inside which were also two Kalashnikovs.
