General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has declared Wednesday that organized crime, illegal trafficking and cyber-attacks, which until recently were negligible, have become a priority.

During the gathering of 43 police chiefs of European capitals in Tirana, within the framework of the conference on deepening cooperation to increase security parameters between countries, Director Rrumbullaku also underlined that cyber attacks today have become a major concern for many countries of the world.

“Crime is today more than ever, without a certain form, informed and prepared and the only way to overcome these obstacles is cooperation, coordination and unification of joint police operations.

Our citizens need guarantees, security and protection. Today we are here precisely to find the right ways for cooperation. The joint initiative to strengthen cooperation and increase security parameters is not only figurative.

The focus of this conference will be some of the common security challenges, the exchange of experience, the identification and promotion of cooperation practices in order to face new and current challenges.

The fight against organized crime and illegal trafficking is our priority.

Attacks and cybercrimes from a negligible risk not long ago, have become one of the most serious threats and a real challenge for law enforcement agencies in the world”, said the Police Director among other things.
