Top Democrat Lulzim Basha confirmed in an interview for Abc News that the elections will be held by a transitional government.
The leader of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, reacted to this statement of Basha. According to Balla, early elections are not the subject of dialogue between the parties.
Full reaction:
Lulzim Basha has “confirmed” early elections agreement! But early elections are not the subject of dialogue with that alliance, even with Lulzim Basha.
The dialogue has begun on Electoral Reform and within the clear recommendations of the OSCE / ODHIR .
Ideas outside of this framework can be discussed and confirmed by the DP leader outside Parliament with his alliance, but not with the Socialist Party.
Meanwhile we remind to Lulzim Basha that the Electoral Code is approved with 84 votes that the Socialist Party does not have.
* To clarify I gave this answer, because President Rama is fully engaged with the Reconstruction and other major engagements as Prime Minister and as President of the OSCE during 2020./abcnews.al
