Vice Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Kreshink Çollaku, condemned this Thursday the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the situation in the north of Kosovo and the September 24 attack by a Serbian terrorist group, which resulted in the death of police officer Afrim Bunjaku.
In his speech from the floor of the Assembly, Collaku said that Albanians have doubts or questions about the division and exchange of territories between Kosovo and Serbia.
“On June 19, in a Twitter status, adding to those who had put pressure on Kurti to withdraw the special forces from the north, you stated that Albin comes out of self-isolation, de-escalate the situation, withdraw the special forces, or the opposite results to have a republic of KFOR in the north and say goodbye to the sovereignty of Kosovo.
On June 24, you know what happened, an armed command of Serbs attempted to annex the northern part of Mitrovica with an aggression. If it hadn’t been for the reaction of the Kosovo police, which you put pressure on, the border would have been in Iba”, stated the Democrat.
