Counterfeit $100 bills, a 37 year old arrested in Tirana

A 37-year-old man from Tirana has been arrested by the police, after throwing suspected counterfeit banknotes into the market.

It is suspected that the citizen with the initials F.A. has continuously put into circulation, through various commercial subjects, banknotes of denomination 100 dollars. So, according to the blues, it is learned that this citizen has been arrested, previously convicted for theft and fraud.

“This citizen is suspected of having repeatedly put into circulation, through various commercial subjects, in Tirana, 100 dollar banknotes. As material evidence, 100 dollar banknotes, suspected to be counterfeit, were seized. The work continues for the complete documentation of the criminal activity of this citizen. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.”
