Shefqet Ndroqi” Hospital, known as Covid-2 during the coronavirus outbreak has called Wednesday on the authorities to cross-examine “to the end” the corruption case of the cleaner worker Tire Alldervishi, who took ALL 5-6 million from a citizen to save her mother from the virus infection.

The abusive sanitary worker was arrested earlier today following a public denunciation which exposed her. Alldervishi was introduced as a nurse to the citizen E.S, taking from her ALL 5-6 million to save her 55-year-old mother, but the latter died at the Covid-2 Hospital.

Nevertheless, this scandal took place in the Tirana hospital at a time when healthcare services within Albanian hospitals are supposed to be free of charge for the citizens.

“All the health personnel of the ‘Shefqet Ndroqi’ hospital feels extremely hurt, surprised by the corrupt, inhuman action of the cleaner worker with the initials T.A and strongly condemns this illegal, corrupt act made public. This ugly and irresponsible act can in no way tarnish the selfless and extraordinary work of the health staff of the ‘Shefqet Ndroqi’ hospital.

The hospital health staff, distancing itself from this action, will continue to provide dedicated health service in a timely and quality manner. Following the dismissal of the sanitary worker, we ask the competent authorities to conduct the investigation to the end of this case”, said the ‘Shefqet Ndroqi’ hospital’s staff in its reaction.
