Ilirjan Celibashi responded today to the interest of the media, regarding the registration of the members of KZAZ of the Democratic Party, even though this political force has not yet been registered as an electoral subject for the local elections.
“The decision-making was imposed by the circumstances, the procedures that must be carried out by the zonal commissions related to the registration and further filing of candidacy documents. It is not the first time that the members of KZAZ do not attend public meetings.
We usually do the initial registration at the meeting. Even in the case in question, for a part of KZAZ we have appointed them before, the appointment was made yesterday because the secretaries of KZAZ, who have a main function in administration, had to take up the task.
It was decided at the last minute, so as not to block the process below. We have appointed members of KZAZ, persons who have been presented by the legitimate person for communication with CEC.
Sefa has all the legitimacy, we are not doing anything that has affected a legitimate aspect. Who sits in the PD is not our issue, Sefa is legitimate to present requests for members of KZAZ. It is different from any other request, and most of all from the request for the registration of an electoral subject.” said Celibashi.
As for the question of what will happen to them if PD is not registered in the local elections, Celibashi said that it will be decided step by step, when there is a decision.
