The former president of the United States of America, Bill Clinton, arrived at noon this Monday at Rinas airport, a two-day visit to Tirana.
The plane with the former president on board landed on the runway of Rinas at 15:18. ABC News was able to provide exclusive footage, while the plane with the former American President on board, landed on Albanian land.
Bill Clinton was hosted in Rinas by Prime Minister Edi Rama. A special official ceremony, where citizens will also be present, is planned to take place for him on Monday afternoon on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard.
After the national anthem of the United States of America and Albania, Prime Minister Edi Rama and former President Bill Clinton will make the ceremonial parade and honor the flags of the two countries.
Prime Minister Rama will deliver the speech of the occasion and then honor Clinton with the “Star of Gratitude for Public Achievements”. After the assessment, at around 19:25, the former American President will also give a speech.
