Two Belgian tourists were rescued ths Thursday morning after being trapped in the canyon of Gjipe. Police received yesterday evening the information that the two tourists, while exploring the Gjipe canyon, were trapped in a very difficult and dangerous terrain, where they could not get out.
After five hours of searching, it was possible to find them who were in good health.
“Yesterday evening, the services of the Dhërmi Police Station received a notification that 2 Belgian tourists, exploring the canyon of Gjipe, Himare, were stuck due to the difficult terrain and it was impossible for them to get out of the canyon.
Immediately after the announcement, the Police services, along with the fire services, were dispatched to the canyon. As a result of the research, it became possible to locate and extract from the canyon, 2 tourists, who are in good health.
