Interior Minister Taulant Balla wished success to 96 students who graduated from the “Bachelor” program from the Faculty of Security and Investigation, as well as 31 Police experts for special functions, during a ceremony held at the Security Academy.

Deputies of the Security Committee, the General Director of DPPSH, lecturers, representatives of assistance missions of partner countries, students’ families and other guests also participated in it. During the greeting speech, the Minister emphasized that “the aim is to place the State Police at the head of the most reliable institutions. For me, the objective is for the State Police to be the most trusted institution in the country.”

He further underlined that “public polls show an increase in reliance on the police. This is also due to the success of some of the national operations undertaken by the State Police, such as “Temple” and “Rule of Law”.

The State Police has shown and continues to show, with results, with concrete operations, that it is a reliable partner, first for citizens and also for local and foreign law enforcement agencies.”

Speaking about the challenges that new employees may face in the ranks of the State Police, Minister Balla strongly emphasized the preservation of human and professional integrity and overcoming the temptation to succumb to illegality.

At the end of his speech, Balla made appeal to all the new officers to not betray the blood of police martyrs and the ideals and the principles of the organization.
