The head of the parliamentary group of the SP, Taulan Balla, commented today in a conference with the media, the arrests in the Ministry of Finance.
“I have no comment when it comes to arrests. The criminal and legal responsibilities are personal, let’s let justice do its job,” said Balla, in response to the media’s interest.
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, Arlind Gjokutaj, along with two other officials, namely, the director of legal affairs, Fatmir Hoxhaj, as well as the private bailiff, Alban Ruli, were arrested a few days ago by order of SPAK.
According to the Posacme prosecutor’s office, these persons have committed legal violations after accepting a reward of 82 million lek (about 750 thousand dollars) from the citizen Ilir Thana.
