French President, Emmanuel Macron, met this Tuesday with Prime Minister Edi Rama, who received him at the entrance of the Prime Minister’s Office.
In the Prime Minister’s premises, Emmanuel Macron together with Rama, as well as in the presence of ministers and officials from the cabinets of both governments, signed several agreements between the two countries.
French President, Emmanuel Macron, started his first official visit to Albania, with the delivery of the highest decoration of the Republic of France to the prominent Albanian writer, Ismail Kadare.
Almost 1 hour after his arrival in the country, he was received with a ceremony at the Palace of Brigades, where he handed the great Albanian writer, Ismail Kadare, the highest decoration of the Republic of France “Grand Officer of the Legion of Honor”.
During the meeting at the Prime Minister’s office, several agreements were signed.
-Guidelines for economic cooperation between Albania and France.
-Memorandum of understanding for mutual cooperation between the Council of Ministers of Albania and the French Development Agency.
– Cooperation agreement through the Ministry of Culture of Albania and the National Center for Cinema of France.
-Declaration of intent between the Ministry of Interior of Albania and France regarding the strengthening of police cooperation in the ballistic field.
