The President of the Republic Bajram Begaj announced today the decree no. 186 dated 11.08.2023 for “Setting the date of the elections for the Mayor of Kukes”. The President set the date September 24, 2023 as the date of holding the elections for Mayor in the Municipality of Kukes.

Since the departure of the former mayor Safet Gjici in the funny month of this year due to the sexual scandal in the office, the municipality of Kukës has been led by Granit Gjana, deputy mayor.
