Blerina Bala has resigned from the post of Mayor of Himara. ABC News reporter Elton Nika reports that Bala resigned for personal reasons.
“However, due to personal reasons that require my time and full attention, I regret to inform you of my inability to continue the office of Mayor of Himara that was entrusted to me by the City Council of Himara”, it was stated in the resignation presented by her.
It is known that on Friday the meeting of the Himara Municipal Council will take place for the election of one of the two vice-mayors, Pervin Gjikuria and Arqile Bollano for the post of mayor.
Blerina Bala sent her resignation while not appearing in person at the municipality. “The resignation is official. Blerina Bala was elected on March 29, at a meeting held by the Municipal Council of Himara. He was elected with 15 votes in favor.
At least from the first information, there are personal reasons that Blerina Bala has stated. We will have more information from the Municipality of Himara.
