The socialist candidate, Albert Halilaj, made the first reaction after the deep victory in Kukes.
Through a post on Facebook, Halilaj announces that the Socialist Party will postpone the victory celebration for another day, respecting the national mourning in Kosovo after the killing of the police officer in the north of the country.
“Joining the national mourning with our brothers in Kosovo, we announce that the celebrations for the historic victory of the municipality of Kukes will not take place today but on another day.
On the side of Kosovo in the face of terrorists! My Kosovo, even when it is a wound, is apart from Europe”, wrote Halilaj.
We remind you that Halilaj was declared the winner with a margin of more than 5 thousand votes from the candidate of the “Together We Win” coalition, Emri Vata.
