Gunshots were recorded late on Friday evening in a bar in Kosovo. Local media reported that 17 people were injured in the shooting that took place in a bar in the center of Pristina, one of them in a serious condition.
News of the event has been confirmed also by the Director of the Emergency Clinic, Naser Syla, who gave details about their condition.
“We have a total of 17 injured. 7 are with firearms and 10 are with other injuries, with broken glass or tools.
All are in stable condition, while one is in the operating room and is in danger of life. Of these other six, one of them is waiting to enter the operating room, but their condition is stable.
The Kosovo Police has also confirmed the case, as Spokesman for the Prishtina Region, Agron Borovci, told Express Newspaper that at least two suspects have been identified as being implicated in the case, while work is also being done to identify other possible suspects.
“Around 11:30 p.m., gunshots were reported in a bar on “Rexhep Luci” street in Pristina. The police immediately went to the scene and from the first information it is suspected that some people were injured by firearms or even glass fragments. While the injured have been sent for the necessary medical treatment, the police are continuing their work with the examination of the scene as well as with other operative-investigative actions.
Currently, at least two suspects have been identified as being implicated in the case, while work is also being done to identify other possible suspects”, stated Borovci.
