10 Iranian mujahedin have been interrogated by the Durres Prosecutor’s Office as witnesses in the event that happened on Tuesday morning in the MEK camp in Manez, Durres.
The 10 Iranians were questioned yesterday about the allegations that the police used violence against them and that the sprite they threw was responsible for the loss of life of a member in the camp.
Sources from the prosecution body say that even during the testimony given yesterday, they maintained the same position.
Earlier, regarding this claim, the Albanian authorities declared that no violence was used against them.
The Police and the Prosecutor’s Office have not yet been able to seize the cameras inside the camp, and for this reason they have been forced to turn to the representatives of the mujahedin with a request to give them the footage of the security cameras.
Today and the following day, other Iranian persons are expected to be interrogated, including the 6 persons who were prosecuted in a free state for 4 charges.
Regarding the 78-year-old man who died in the camp, the Durres Prosecutor’s Office is waiting for the autopsy and the response to the toxicological tests.
